 Summer 1996 This was the first year I ever participated in the Groom's Comic Class at the Iowa State Fair. My costume was hand made to fit me and the horse. Big Dixie, Holly (the filly) and I (Maid Marion) placed second. |
 I was very pregnant in 1997, so I skipped a year. Big Dixie and I placed 4th this time. |
