The Regiment has always placed a high degree of importance on shooting. As an infantry solider this is possibly one of the most important, if not the most important, disciplines to develop. Shooting also builds a good level of team spirit and many a challenge can be offered and accepted in the nature of good sportsmanship that is to be found on a shooting range.
