For best results when shining hardwood floors,wax them on a warm sunny day. It's better then doing them on a damp or cold day, as the wax job lasts much longer. Who would have thought?
WINDOWS,
Nylon net scrubbies are great for cleaning window screens.Run dry net over the screen section of the window and all that dirt that has been gathering on the screen just flies out beautifully.
Kicthen Drains,
Pour 1 c. baking soda down drain followed by 1 c. of Cider Vinegar. As this foams up, Flush with 1 pint of boiling water once every week and you will never have another clogged drain.
BATHROOM,
To remove sticky marks from a bathtub after removing a nonskid mat,try fingernail poish remover. Works like a charm!
BEDROOM,
To keep a mattress from getting bent out of shape before it's time, try flipping it every couple monthes.
DININGROOM,
Ever have trouble getting those table leaves apart for Thanksgiving dinner, Here's a tip. Try spraying hair spray on the runners and the little pegs, You should have NO more problems getting the two halves apart or together again.
LAUNDRY,
ALOCOHOL: Rubbing alocohol works great for all types of grass stains
LEMOM JUICE: This is natures bleach and disinfectant. If you have spots on white clothes,apply some lemon juice and lay them in the sun. Apply a little more lemon juice prior to laundering, launder as usual. This is great on baby formula stains.
