Q: How much do you charge?
A:This really depends on many different factors. If the customer is interested in regular service, We set up an appointment for a free in-home estimate. The estimate takes about 15 mintues. During which time I will go through each room with you and discuss the needs, at the end of the "walk through" based on each homes/Business  needs I will give you an  estimate of the cost for us to clean your home.
Q: If I decide to have regular service, do I need to sign a contract?
A: YES, I ask you to sign a contract simply to protect yourself  and ourselves from any misunderstanding of our agreement. 
Q: What if I only want a one time clean?
A: For customers that are not interested in regular service, I would need to have some information about the house/Business before giving a estimate. The average home/Business costs between $84.00 to $98.00 and up to clean one time. depending upon factors such as the number of rooms  and the condition of the house/Business.  etc.
Q: Will Kay's Cleaning Service clean the inside of my oven, Microwave?
Is there an extra charge?

A: YES, Kay's Cleaning Service will clean ovens and Microwaves inside only if requested from customer, there is an extra charge for this service. The extra cost can range from $20 and up depending on the condition of your appliance.
Q: Do you do Windows?
A: Kay's Cleaning Service will clean the "inside" of windows.but outside window cleaning should be left to people that specialize in that area.
Q: Do you provide references?
A: No, we have always had a policy of not providing referrals. We have always felt that asking our customers to allow strangers to call them at home was a violation of their privacy. We feel that it is not proper to impose on our customers to answer questions about our service. In, return,we would not impose on you to answer questions.
Q: Do you always send the same person?
A: As stated on my Home Page, I am a Independent Cleaner which means I have NO emplyees the only one coming to clean your home is myself. On special occasions I will bring my daughter to help out and or my husband. "WE"  are a family business.
Q: Do you provide your own cleaning supplies?
A: No, We do not provide supplies for our customers for commerical jobs or  residential jobs,Unless we first discuss the needs of our customer.But as a rule  we usually do not provide cleaning supplies for our jobs. we feel that our customers are better adapted to what works best in their homes/Business as far as their family/Cuatomer's  health is concerned.
Q: What is your availability?
A: My hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 2pm. I clean weekly, or bi-weekly and usually arrive at your home and start between 8:30am and 9am.
Estimates are not given on the same day as a clean.  
Q: What if I can't be home or at my place of Business during those hours?
Can I give you a key?

A: Many of my customers are working people and simply don't have enough time in a day for everything, They also enjoy coming home  to a clean home/Business. These customers work out different arrangements based upon their individual situation. Most will supply me with a key to their home/Business. This key is numbered and kept in a locked box.
Q: What happens if my key is lost?
A: In the 15+ years of my service I have never lost a key, but accidents do occur. Rest assured that I would abide by whatever action you would like me to take.
Q: If I have pets, do I need to secure them while you are cleaning?
A: Kay's Cleaning does ask that you secure your pet in a room or kennel away from the area you would like me to clean. This makes my job faster.  
Q: Are you bonded and Insured?
A: Kay's Cleaning Service is Fully Insured but is not bonded at this time, If  I feel that it becomes a need to better service my customers I will look in to it. Q: How is payment for services rendered?
A: Services are paid for at the completion of each job. If you plan on not being home, we ask that you leave your payment in the form of a check.If there is no check left we will not do the clean and will ask you to please call and reschedule with us a better time.
