Common Weapon Familiarities

This is more ridged definition of what common melee weapon and common missile weapon familiarity means organized by character background. This dose not mean the character can not learn familiarities beyond what is listed, just other weapons are exotic enough to their background to require them to pay points for it. Everyone is assumed to have familiarity with dagger and knives for free (and that says a lot about the society they live in).

A familiarity with shields is required in this campaign to be affective with it and get the DCV bonus (naturally intuitive shield work, phah!).

Characters fighting in armor without buying the familiarity suffer  -3OCV.

Noble
