Political Cartoons 1983-84

All drawings were done ink on Paper, and were relevant to events of that particular time.

In a surprise The police conducted a sting operation that nabbed a student buying cocaine.  It happened in the dorm right next to mine, and all the students were talkng about it.  When I presented this to my editor, he knew he had to fight to get it published.  To his credit, after much heated debate the cartoon was published.  No university wants this kind of publicity, but the student-run newspaper wanted to demonstrate that they are independant of the university administration.

This one really surprised me.  Not only did I find all the quotes above in the same issue of Newsweek, but they all contridicted each other.  This made it easy for me.
