Boris Svertlovich.

svert2.jpg - 5592 BytesWho is Svertlovitch? I hear you ask..... This Great Man, Generous Patron of The Society and Tireless Researcher, was among the first to recognise the true greatness of DeBurgh's Works. He dedicated his life (and several other peoples lives as well) to delving into the Enigma that is DeBurgh with the dual aims of coming to a Deeper Understanding of the Works of DeBurgh, and, with the help of The Society, further promoting the literary value of the Works of the Master to an ever widening and (sometimes) appreciative audience.

However, certain members of the literary community attempted to set up some kind of Council, along the lines of the UN's "War Crimes Tribunal" in order to charge Svertlovich with the somewhat nebulous "Crimes Against Literature".

Fortunately they failed in their attempts. BUT, be warned good people, THEY are STILL OUT THERE!!!
Ceaseless in their efforts to undermine the work of The Society and indeed, attempt to banish the Works of The Master to some dim forgotten sub-basement of Literary History.

VIGILANCE is the Watchword!!!

It is believed that one of THEM (or more than one, technically constituting a "THEY", I suppose) managed to reduce the original 27 page synopsis of the life and contributions of B. Svertlovich presented by The Society, to the following Tawdry Insult to a Great Man......
