Domes of Heaven

By Robert James DeBurgh (Poet)

O! See! The Dome of Heaven,
The Vaulting Arch of Night!
O! Light! Light! Light!
O! so bright is the sight of the light in the night.
Like unto the caves of Alma-Ata it is, that vault
Where the glow-worm glows amid the
Stalagtites.
And sometimes 'mid the
Stalactites when
Those little creatures crawl all around the cavern wall
And sometimes even fall to the cavern floors.
But, I digress. Again my vision soars
To the Vault Of The Night and it's Light!
O! Light! Light! Light! As bright as the sun.....
I have done.

Mesopotamia 1892

NOTE:
Professor Sir Carlton Phippsmorton, in his mammoth work Breast Fetishism and its Role In Religious Observance ( Oddwadd Press, 1959, 4550 pp, out of print) shows how adult infantilism almost invariably dwell on breast forms. The reader is left to his own conclusion as to how this relates to The Domes Of Heaven of Robert JamesDeBurgh (if at all...)

NOTES ON PROVENANCE:
We are indebted to the Late Lady Gwendoline Phippsmorton for this Work upon which her late husband had been working at the time of his death from Severe Mammary Attraction Syndrome - he was driving his Bentley on the Champs Elysee at the time.
