Born of the evil Piccolo-Daimao the young Piccolo inherited his father's hatred of Goku and his spiritual connection to Kami. Although most of his early life was spent trying to destroy Goku and take over the Earth, Piccolo was forced into an uneasy truce with Goku in order to defeat Raditz. And in training Gohan for the upcoming battle with the Sayians he was able to come to peace with his evil nature and truly become a hero.
