New ArchivesRamon, King Win in Quizbowls 02/25/2002 Ramon Ruperto was victorious in the Inter-College Silliman History Quiz Bowl last January 31, 2002 at the Hibbard Hall. He bested 8 other colleges and departments in the SU Campus Ambassadors-sponsored contest. Meanwhile, on February 8, 2002, it was Jose Richard "King" Reyes of the College of Nursing who won in the Engineering Spree Inter-College General Info. Quiz Bowl. The Engineering Week event, which was participated by 9 colleges and departments, was sponsored by the Philippines Institute of Civil Engineers (SU Chapter) and the Engineering Student Government. King received a certificate and a cash prize. In 2nd place was Ramon Ruperto of the CITCS. Fellow Rizalians Mark Reyes of the Medtech Dept.and Jenny Labrador (CBA), also came in 4th and 5th places respectively. Each of the contestants was also given a complimentary Engineering t-shirt.
