History June 3, 1996 - First Day of High School Life!!! Anxious to see what's in store for us... August 3, 1996 - First Cheering Competition.... As Freshmen, we won 2nd Place... August 2, 1997 - Won 2nd Place in Inter-Level Cheering Contest (as sophomores)... some said we should have won... November 22, 1997 - Sandurot Festival... II-Gomez represented SU... taga-DECS kuno! January 17, 1998 - II-Gomez had an outing in Martesan... (not in Mark's place) the GUBA (Gomez United Barkada Association) thingie kunuhay! August 1, 1998 - CHAMPIONS for the first time... as juniors in the SUHS Cheering contest August 23, 1998 - remember the Philip's Cup National Soccer tournament... wherein our cheering team performed? embarrassing!!! August 26, 1998 - CHAMPIONS again... this time in the SU All-Univesity cheering contest, beating defending champs CBA... September 13, 1998 - III-Aquino had a rummage sale at the Cathedral as fund raising for the JS Prom September 21, 1998 - After about 2 weeks of shortened classes (up to 3 PM) due to the city's dengue outbreak, normal classes resumed... no more long sleeves for men and pants for women... October 11, 1998 - Another Aquino rummage sale October 16, 1998 - II-Gomez 97-98 Reunion at Loren's house (Ma'am Garcia's bday) October 28-30, 1998 - Intramurals 98... Juniors dominated in almost all events... November 3, 1998 - it was the start of our batch's COCS training... December 5, 1998 - COCS Acceptance Day... more like Hell Day! December 18, 1998 - it was officially announced that the we (JUNIORS) were the over-all CHAMPIONS in this years Intrams December 20, 1998 - it was III-Aquino's first night in a week of caroling around the city... as fund raising for the JS Prom... we got only P 505.00 December 23, 1998 - our best caroling night!!! we earned P 2,350.00 for that night alone... October 29, 1999 - crowned Dumaguete CHAMPIONS in the inter-high school cheering competition... out of 7 cheering contests joined in our entire hs life, we won 4 of them and the rest were all 2nd places February 24, 2000 - Last High School day of regular classes.... March 18, 2000 - GRADUATION DAY!!! finally done with all our high school challenges... October 21-22, 2000 - 1st Rizal outing as college students.... at Mark's place in Martesan August 3, 2001 - First SUHS 2000 assembly since graduation day... held at the amphitheater to discuss plans for centennial celebration... August 27, 2001 - SUHS 2000 joins Silliman Centennial Parade... youngest SUHS batch in the event... April 5-6, 2002 - Rizalians and Friends outing at Jenny's place in Valencia and Tejeros...
