Rizalians in Valencia

The IRAs had another outing last April 5-6, 2002 and as usual, the same faces joined. They had an overnight at Jenny Labrador's place in Valencia. Those who did sleep there were Rizalians Jenny (of course), Megan, Nicing, Charlie, King, Mark, Ramon, Fara, Loren, Rhea, and Ma'am Pascual, and IRA friend Phil Academia. They had fun "videoke-ing", eating, and recalling past memories. Class President Tonying, along with Nabi, and Freslyn, who brought guest Athalia Briones, were also there. In the morning of April 6, after Mark and Ramon brought Ma'am Pascual and Rhea home, a few people decided to explore around the backyard. They were King, Ramon, Phil, Charlie, and Loren and Nicing (who were both wearing jeans and heeled-sandals). What was a short walk turned longer as they went to the other side all the way to the road. They kept on walking and walking up and down until they reached Tejeros. But "leader" King and "disciple" Ramon still were not satisfied so they continued way past Forest Camp. They walked and walked and walked until finally, due to the continued complaints from Loren and Nicing, they decided to call their classmates who were still at Jenny's place and have them fetched but unfortunately, the subscriber cannot be reached! So they continued walking while trying to contact Mark and company, until eventually they did so and Mark said that they were coming. When they arrived, it was decided that they were going straight to the Japanese Shrine. Along the way though, they broke a water pipe which probably supplied water to an entire barangay. After King fixed the problem, they decided not to continue. The outing ended in Tejeros where they met some highschoolers who also went swimming. To view the Valencia pictures, click HERE.
