Loren, Ramon Take Assembly Seats

Loren Mae Monares and Ramon Antonio Ruperto, both from the Concerted Action for the Upliftment of Students' Endeavors (CAUSE) party, were two of the winning candidates in the recent Silliman University Student Government (SUSG) Elections. Both won as college representatives to the SUSG Student Assembly. Monares, who currently occupies a seat in the assembly (SY 2001-02), won as a College of Business Administration representative, while Ruperto, a former member of the assembly from SY 1999-2000, won in the College of Information Technology and Computer Sciences. CAUSE party campaign manager, who's also a Rizalian, is Remir Repollo. Coincidentally, it was also Remir who was the campaign manager when Loren and Ramon won in the SUHS Student Council Elections under the banner of the DARBS Party back in their high school senior days. Also winning as college representative (College of Education) in the February 27, 2002 elections was SUHS 2000 member Gian Gloria of the Students' Union for Reforms (SURE) Party.
