New ArchivesSUHS 2000 Joins Centennial Parade 08/30/2001 Members of SUHS Class 2000 were the youngest among the many SUHS classes joining the Silliman University Centennial Parade last August 27, 2001. The number of members of the class peaked at 65 at one point during the parade -- this, despite the fact that they only knew about joining the parade the afternoon of the previous day. Assembled in front of the SU church at about 12:30 PM, Class President Anthony Emperado and the rest of his batchmates made right then and there a class banner for the parade. The class also brought with them trophies of previous contests like cheering and intramurals, which they borrowed from the High School department. Some of them wore High School uniforms while others wore their Seniors 2000 T-shirts.
