Riverside Police Auxiliary
The Riverside Police Auxiliary in Riverside, Illinois is looking for Riverside residents interested in volunteering their time and talent in helping the Riverside Community.

When you join the Auxiliary, you become a team member with the Riverside Police Department.  When on duty, you are a sworn peace officer donating your time and energy to the Village of Riverside.  You will spend five (5) hours a month, or more if you choose, on patrol with members of the Riverside Police Department.  You will also participate in monthly meetings and training sessions to enrich your law enforcement learning.  And you may be called upon to help the Riverside Police Department in emergencies or during special events.

If you are interested in the Auxiliary Program with the Riverside Police Department and if you:
- Are a citizen of the United States,
- Are between the ages of 21 and 65,
- Are of good mental and physical health,
- Have not been convicted of a felony,
- Possess a valid Illinois Driver's license,
- Have not been dishonorably discharged from the military; and
- Will be a resident of the Village of Riverside at the time of appointment to the program, then
