The following is the text of a book entitled "Psychiatry and Justice on Trial" published by Sherwood Publishing (1993), Toronto. The book is about the author's account of how his life had been drastically changed by the action of several malicious psychiatrists. Such things, you would say, just do not happen in any civilised country but it did occur in Canada (Quebec). Not only that, it had the tacit blessings of the judicial establishment, i.e. the Ombudsman, judges, lawyers, etc., as well.
Since most of the original documents are in French, the French manuscript entitled L'inquisition de nos jours (du Québec) is also stored on the Internet. The author will eventually publish the French version as a book.
With regard to the exhibits appended at the back of the published book, they are mostly in French. It has not been possible, for technical reasons, to scan the exhibits and store them on the Internet because of lack of space. However, in order to allow readers a chance to read the text for themselves, these French documents have been translated and word processed; hence, they are found at the back of the Internet story. Similarly, the exhibits that were originally in English have been word-processed and stored with the other exhibits on the Internet.
For the readers who would like to obtain a copy/copies of the exhibits or a copy/copies of the published book, they could send in their orders to the author.
