you were a true ocean princess
until that sad day
when the pilot took you the wrong way
and there you stood
with a big lethal hole in your three year old
solid single steel hull
and the black gold at 20 dollar each barrel
started to flow totally out of control
and so started the stupid quarrel
what shall we do and who shall pay

Tug tug tug
for almost a whole week
but nobody tried to stop the leak
tug tug tug

you were a true ocean princess
but you ended up in the greatest disgrace
because we humans put you in a raw race
were the working expenses meant more
than the safety for the maritime world

it is sad to say but you sat a new record today
Exxon Valdez had the last one
and everybody know how much oil that come out
and there is still more to come
because we can't cure our crazy greed
