JUST WAIT AND SEE

This could have been
a wonderful world for us all
but as you well know
that is still just a dream
because we can not hear
the silent screaming from the earth
but we see all the pain we cause
and still we don't care in any way

The day the earth dies
in the near future it will happen
and there will be no use to cry
because we all wanted it to take place
since yellow and black gold and diamonds
were the only things we wanted

This could have been
a great place to raise a family
but all the use of chemicals every place
has turned the whole planet into something
that nobody fully understand the consciences of
because PCB Quicksilver Strontium and Plutonium
and there are thousand more to name
sucks the very life out of everything
and that including even you

This could have been
an example for the rest of the universe
but soon there will be no more blue planet
it will look more and more like the dry moon
when we are finished with cutting down the rain forest
and the oxygen will be hard and strange to breathe
and the desert is taking over the fields
and the sun is so strong that there are no shields
that can protect us from being cooked
then it will be time to admit
that it was greed that led to the fall of our world
just you wait and see

This could have been
a beautiful world to live in for everybody
but there are a few crazy leaders around in different
controlled lands
that force their distorted will through every time
and we follow their advises just like a bunch of sheep
heading against the slaughterhouse
