She said that she really loved me
but I was stupid enough
to send her away
in my selfishness I thought
that I could find someone better
and now I miss her every day
and she does not return any answers
to my begging letters

Never say no when it comes to love
when you suddenly wake up
it can be too late and you are alone

She said that she really loved me
and had done it for a long time
and that she wanted so much to be mine
but I turned her down
and told her to take a walk far away
because she was not good enough for me
and now I want her to come and talk
because I feel desperately and lonely

She said that she really loved me
and that she wanted to stay
so she could make my life wonderful
in every way I needed
but I was too proud to understand
that is was something special and great
coming my way for a change
so I sent her away with the message to stay
but today I called her on the phone
and she just said who the fuck are you
so now I am sitting here all by myself
with nothing useful to do
except from putting a happy smile
upon my sad face
