Do you really know
what it means to be naive
it is when you believe
almost everything
and you never ask anybody
for a second opinion
because you think that they would
tell you something different
and what in the world should you do then

Don't let anybody use you as a slave
don't let anybody choose for you
don't you have your own sense
don't let anybody abuse you in any way
don't be afraid to live
it is your life to spend
don't hesitate to ask for help
when you are in need for some
don't be shy and push people away
when they come close
just listen carefully
to the words that they say

it is when you are denied
to feel and express
what you know in your heart
is right and still
you don't speak up about it in time
if you really think it over
you must admit to yourself
that sometimes you knew best
but you always stood quiet
and let things happen
and the truth you let rest

it is when you let someone
take the full control
over your precious life
and when you are too afraid
to open your closed eyes
and take a good look
at the world as it really is
and when you don't dare
to speak against those men
living their lives upon those
obvious lies

loves to be abused all their life
and can not seem to find
the strength to act right
even if they know
that they are doing wrong
