Under the influence of open lies
we all live our lives
because we have been told since the day
we were born into this world
that we have to obey and serve the law
and they who should know the best to do for us
treat us with ignorance and disrespect
because they mean that we are born to slave for the state
and correct us after those who sit above us all

You got to be nice and pay the price
you have to believe in all our lies
you got no will of your own
you have to understand that we control
all the towns

Under the tomb of money power and taxes
we all live our lives
because we have been told for a very long time
that this is the only possible way to get a good life
and only the lazy and crazy people
have time to relax
you are born to work and pay your high tax
with the biggest smile you got
and so it will be until the day you die
and your children are old enough to pay the coffin
with your and their
life savings pennies and nickels and dimes
saved through a hard life without any sort of crime

Under the guidance of the system Lord's
we have to sacrifice our tears and blood and friends
just to give those arrogant fools the satisfaction
when they see that we are willing to do everything
when they say that this time it will be so fine
and your life will turn out so well
just give us your vote
and if somebody is stupid enough to raise his voice
or even his home made wood sword
he will be nailed to the wall
by all those nice lies and sweet words
from our good friends
that we love to select again and again
