History of the store

 Back in January of 2016 the determination to open a store was made, I began purchasing sets for part out as well as purchasing a storage solution that would allow for easy storage and cataloging of parts. Influenced by BricksOnTheDollar I decided to go with Stack-Ons for my organization system. The store opened in April of 2016 with approximately 10,000 parts and has been growing ever since. The initial store was just a large work table with the Stack-Ons sitting on top, and that quickly was not enough space.
 I decided to build a wall and mount all of the Stack-Ons so that it freed up more floor space and sectioned off the basement to keep dust down to a minimum on the store side. The wall went up quickly and mounting the Stack-Ons here allowed for 40 units to fit in a much narrower space than sitting on a table. Now this wall has allowed for expanding the store to about a 140k parts but to go beyond that, some of the other walls will need to be completed.

 I currently re-invest 75% of all profits back into the store so that it will keep growing. Anyone who thinks that opening a Bricklink store is an easy and quick way to get rich has never actually attempted to run one. The store takes up quite a bit of time and often leaves me with no free time at night, especially when parting out high part counts. Over time I hope to grow the store into a full-time job, maybe some day.
