Mysteries of the Deep

        This is just a list of some oddities I've noticed in my collection and some miscellaneous Ebay sightings. I'm trying to make a list of pony and items I've seen.  I started this list a couple years ago and since I don't have permission to use pictures, there probably won't be many for awhile.

    Have you noticed that the Loving Family Ponies have both China and Hong Kong stamped on their hooves?  Hong Kong seems more common.

    There is a cream version of Cherry Treats with a China stamp.  The white one is Hong Kong.

    There are several variations of Peachy.  I've seen her with rough concave feet and normal concave feet.  I've heard that there is a flat foot version also.  She comes with  pink hearts, neon pink hearts, and lite pink hearts.

    There is a sheet set featuring the So-Soft ponies, but everybody is mixed up (colors, symbols, pony types)

    Loving family (babies only?) were sold separately in the UK.  Boys came with a bowtie and girls came with a hairclip.

    I've seen several banks, including one of "Minty" (dark green with white bowties instead of clover)

    There are two versions of the first year flutters.  One is slimmer than the other.  Version one has larger eyes and her legs are in a shorter stride.  Version two is slimmer overall, most noticeably in the head and neck. Her legs are also slimmer and in a longer stride.  In addition, the Lily variations have a slightly different hair color.  The short-stride has lavender hair, and the long-stride's hair is closer to a light blue (blue-lavendar).  

    Yum Yum also has a variation.  One has yellow hair and the other is more chartreuse.  

    The Maypole sleeping bag comes in at least three different liner colors (blue, white, pink), two copyright dates ('88 and '89), and two covers (smooth and one more like "fabric").  The picture on the "fabric" one isn't as distinct as the other type.  The "smooth" covers seem to have slight paint variations.

    There are two versions of BBE B Half Note.   One is lavender with a pastel bow on her symbol.  The other is a pale pink with a neon pink bow on her symbol

    There is a Wind Drifter with lavender windmill blades (most are pink). 

    There appears to be a variation for Ripple's float.  It is a mint green frog float.  Most seem to have pink spots, but I've found one with purple spots.

        Pretty Beat with purple hair instead of blue (I got from UK) According to the MLP Collector's Website, this is a UK color variation.
