Watched Tape: about 3 years ago

DAY ONE: It was my first time. My friend Samson had me watch the tape (SAMARA) to save him...I didn't know what I was getting into, but he pretty much told me it was the most amazing "drug" ever. He was right. All of a sudden, I became artistic! I filled up a whole blank notebook that day with pictures of ladders and spirals...it was amazing. I still look through the pages to this day. What other drug or experience can cause an uncreative person to sudden unleash creativity in leaps and bounds like that? None, I believe. It was amazing. All these new feelings...

DAY TWO: That night, I heard scratching at the door. It was terrifying, but thrilling... I've never felt so alive! That day, I doodled some more and became aware of the strong scent of old, stale water. No one else in my home could smell it. More scratching...I also started to feel "weird" like I was tripping or something...time seemed strange to me and didn't seem to flow correctly. The passing of the days became less about time and more about "the next stop". It was frightened and excited for each new "stop".

DAY THREE: More scratching. My dog wouldn't stay too close to me. More doodling. I absent-mindedly began scratching over people's faces in photos. I took about 30 pictures of myself, all warped in a different, interesting way at the face. All my faucets began to leak.

DAY FOUR: I had dreams that night about being in a tiny space and slamming my fists against the darkness. When I woke up, I saw Her stand above me for just a flash of a moment, and she touched my shoulder. There was a burn there. I felt odd for the rest of the day. In my show that day, I felt for a moment like I was being showered with hair instead of water. The water came out rusty-looking.

DAY FIVE: My carpet was soggy when I awoke...as a newbie, I became afraid, and passed the tape to a friend. Since then, I have watched other tapes (some tapes are able to recurse!) and I have never regretted it. I strongly advise everyone to get their hands on an active tape...and watch it! You're in for a life-changing experience that just gets more intense each time you try it - like smoking Salvia Divinorum. The secrets of the universe open up to you in a scary - but amazing and meaningful - way.
