Joseph Pulitzer once said, "Put it before them briefly so they will read it, clearly so they will appreciate it, picturesquely so they will remember it, and above all, accurately so they will be guided by its light."

My mission as a writer is to engage my writing assignments with the elements that Pulitzer elucidates. In addition, since freelance writing is a collaborative endeavor, I affirm to be deadline-driven and flexible in my dealings with my editors.

We are all busy people. Juggling a multitude of responsibilites is the de facto state of today's writing world. A freelancer's job is to alleviate a problem, answer a question or create a byline that will help an editor fill a key assignment.

That is my mission - my promise.
