Land Purchase

The Club has entered into an agreement to purchase 53 acres of ground, known as the Moore Property. We hope to close on the property by November 30th. This ground was forested 2 years ago. The property is on the right side of the road past the Muzzleloader range. It separates us from the Beagle Club, and will be a great addition to our grounds. This purchase will also prevent any development on the property in order to preserve it for hunting and other outdoor activities. Donations toward this purchase are being requested and can be presented at the Club or mailed to the Treasurer at 1602 Old Dominion Dr, Altoona PA 16602.

Jaffa Sports Show

The Club will be located in booth 224 & 225 located in the auditorium of Jaffa. We need help to man the booth for the show to distribute information on the Coyote Hunt and information about the Club, also we need people to sell raffle tickets and Dinner Tickets. Available members interested in helping should call Sharon Merritts at 946-9315 for scheduling information.

The auxiliary is responsible for the food and games, including Bingo at the Ox Roast, as well as serving lunch on major work days. The money from children's games (fish pond and dime toss) is used for a Children's Halloween Party and Family Christmas Party. If you, your spouse, or older children would be interested in helping at the Ox Roast or attending either party contact Jean Neely, 942-4311 or Sharon Merritts, 946-9315.
