We were psyched to be back in tourney with the Raiders...and were blessed with the cats that seemed to avoid us in the championship. We took a small lead in the first cat, Countries where French is Spoken (and Summ where were you?) and hung on for dear life after that. We really broke away after sweeping Doctor Seuss books (no reflection on our reading level...that 22-12 score came because of all our dear pebbles) and then swept again to a win with Greek Gods.

The Raiders came back strong the second game with a 4-2 lead on Hendrix (and the wind cries Mary...) The two point gap continued through Frankenstein (8-6) and widened in Pet Store Stuff (15-8 Raiders) We began our comeback on "Day songs", coming back to within 2 (17-15) and finally stole the lead with OLD 25-22. Birthday parties and boats helped us sail to another win.

Great game, Raiders. Thanks to Thena and everyone else (ev, tripper) who stopped by to make sure things were going smoothly. You guys are what make this tourney (dare I say it?) ROCK!
