The air was musty as I walked through the cloud of smoke and made my
way to the keyboard readiness position. The chores could wait along with
all the other procrastinations we haven't gotten around to yet. There we
stood keyboard to keyboard enthralled in virtual mortal combat over bots
affections and points. There, alone, in our battle against the dark forces
and the tyrrany of those who opposed our crusade for victory. Everyone,
standing valiant, striking answers out of the air as if they were flies
headed to the outhouse. The other team, most definitely a noble opponent,
swatting at those very same flies and giving us a run for the money and
love of bot. We stood hard and typed fast and in the end came out
victorious but not unbruised by the excellent effort of our aggressive
point scoring opponents. Yes, today was a good day to play.

Jeez, who made this schedule? We have to start the season against
the Rats and Raiders?!?!?!? Oh well. Good match tonight, even
though we couldn't really keep it close. Attendance was kinda low
and cragio's lag was up to a possible record 71 seconds. Not to make
any excuses though. Raiders are a great team who we often have
trouble with, and the lovely monikered fetalsac was incredible tonight.

(MVP) Athena & Libra & LunaChick
Game one started with a 4 - 1 lead for the Wonders with Polish Cities.
We never gave up the lead through the next 4 cats - Coastal States, Groups
Names of Birds, Holidays Celebrated in the USA and Japanese Monsters.
Final Score: 32-6 Game Two was a little closer with the Wonders
ahead by 1 pt after the 1st cat - Baby Things. FourPlay kept it
close 6 - 4 with things associated with Horse Racing. Then they took
the lead 16-12 with African Countries on the Atlantic Coast (Double
Point Cat). Pink Floyd Songs was next and although each and every
player typed in "The Wall" it wasn't even an answer!
Fourplay stayed on top 19 - 17. If we thought Pink Floyd Songs was
bad - Bot gave us a double dose of bad cats with Frank Zappa songs which
we swept and reclaimed the lead 24 - 19. Jobs in the Movie Business
gave us the game 31 - 22. Great Game Fourplay!!!
