Game one started off with a bang for the Wonders who swept the Melissa
Etheridge Cat (Double Point) 6 - 0. THe Lizards swept the second cat
Things Assoc. with Elections and stole the lead 7 - 8. The WOnders fought
back sweeping the 3rd cat - Words with "EIN" and we took back the lead
13 - 7. Orchestra Conductors was up next and the Lizards swept the cat, although
they only scored 1 point! Tori Amos songs put us ahead 16 - 11 and Cattle
Breeds increased our lead to 23-12. Seas and Oceans was our next cat and
the Lizards narrowed the lead to 26-18. We finished the game with Jams
& Jellies winning with a score of 30 - 21.
The Lizards took control early in game two Outscoring us 5 - 4 with Red Things.
Tom Cruise Movies was next and the Lizards maintained their one point lead 10 -
9. Colorful Songs gave us the lead 14 - 12. Single Word Palindromes
brought us to a tied score of 18 - 18. Creepy Crawly Spiders was up next
and we again were in the lead 23-20. We kept ahead 28-25 with Ice Hockey
and won the game 32-27 with things found at a construction sight.

OH BOY... This had to be the longest games in Ridic history. First the game
start was delayed 15 minutes due to the fact that no one could even get in Talk
City. If that wasn't enough Bot gave us 87 champ rounds. Ok it wasnt 87 but
there were at least 7 or 8.
Rocks came out stong and really outnumbered Fourplay. It just wasn't Four's nite
(umm night??... uhhh BI which is it???) You didn't think I'd really let it go
did you? LMSO
Despite the long game and numerous champ rounds, it was a very enjoyable game. I
really laughed the whole way through it.

As always, it's a lot of fun to play the Wonders. They took the first game quickly. The second game went back and forth, with a tie after 4 rounds. The Wonders knew their "spiders" and "hockey things" to win 32-27.

Tonights games started off with a running start for the Raiders on both
games.TheSix pack did a good job on closing the gaps during the game. Nobimbo
ordered me a scribe but to date one has not shown up she must of ordered it off
line.

It was a hard night for the LOL'ers. The Rats came out of their sewers in full force and bot was not giving LOL friendly cats. With the Rats going full force from all the vitamins Ev passed out and so many LOL'ers unable to make it, we just couldnt seem to get ahead. However, as always we had a LOL'ing good time. Good Games Rats.

Quick and mostly painless loss tonight. The closest we ever were was
1-4 after the first category of the first game. We were behind as much as
11-24 in the first game, losing 20-33 ultimately.
Game 2 started out with a 9 point Raider sweep on words starting with THE.
Raiders were too quick for us tonight. Dammit, I miss a match and
csquaredaz gets to report on a win. Reporting is much more fun after a win
lol. Anyway, we put up a good show, fought tooth and nail, and now we are
toothless and our nails are broken.
The real fun started after the match in the team room. I would divulve our
topics of conversation if not for the fact that Talk City is a family community.
Anyway, excellent match Raiders! And a hearty WTG to cragio, our MVP for
the evening!.

Well I must admit I spent most of my time chatting with Syd (though I scored more in this game than the last few go figure...) and do we really need a blow-by-blow replay? Suffice it to say we came out in force and won.........(BTW Syd's baby is the most beautiful little girl!!)
