The RatPack took a big lead right off the bat, with the "petrol station" cat. We stayed behind for the next 4 rounds, and had a shot at it with the "Betty Davis movies" cat. Seahawk got us so close with the "Bowie songs", the score at that time was 23-27. Malt got 3 answers in the final round, "Aruthurian Legends", but the Ratpack zoomed ahead to win 35-26. We continued to struggle through the second game, but had a lot more fun when Sibil arrived. Malt did great in the double round "religions" cat, getting 4 answers. AAAAHHHHWWWWOOO!!! This definitely goes down as one of our GLORY DAYS. We won the first game 30-15, then started with a 3-1 lead on some new hoity toity flip flop kinda rhyming cat....what was THAT about? But as vi pointed out, bot redeemed himself by giving the rocks (and their jersey-girl cocaptain) the SPRINGSTEEN cat...and a ROCK SWEEP (I AM SO PROUD!!!) We rode that 12-1 lead through the next 4 cats and won the second game 30-13. The win was fueled by our MVR NITE (methinks bruce wrote "Because the Nite" for a reason, huh?) and by the howls of those werewolves of djibouti (which sorta drowned out the washing machines!) I am not very happy about the way that the LOL^ers like to brag during games and 5 times during our games they proclaimed their use of lists. I am not making any accusations and i don't know if this is true but this is supposed to be a fun game of trivia not to see who can use their lists better. Has anyone ever heard of a brain? I am not pleased with the poor sportsmanship of some teams and absolutely hate those that have to cheat to win. In the second, we got 9 of the Movies with Female Names in the Title. And I did well in British Prime Ministers. A pretty quiet night in all with only a little butt-pinching going on. LOL.
