(Commentary)   The Raiders got off to a good start in the first pre-season game. The first game was a close one, but the Raiders came out ahead, 30 - 27. They plundered their way to a 33 - 12 victory in the second game. Great start team!

First of all, it was great to see everyone out and psyched for the new season.   Second of all, we ROCK!  Well, oaky, actually, these games were closer than the scores show...Fourplay actually led for the first two rounds of the first game, but a great showing on the Mel Gibson cat gave us a 15-13 edge.  We followed that up with a 14 point gain on the things on a sandwich double point round, and ended the game 35-19 with the rainforest cat (did anyone say cafe?)

ROCKS dominated the second game...we took an early 6-1 lead with national parks, and held on through James Taylor, pig stuff, condiments...Fourplay made a good showing on people you tip (our MVP was too busy tipping his lap dancer..ack, no comment, krusty!) and narrowed our lead to 23-20, but then came a double point moons category...AAAHHHWWWOO you've heard of moon rocks, right?  AVALANCHE - always great to end on a sweep - and the rocks win this game 39-20.

Well, it looks like the Rat Pack got off to a good start. Two undermanned teams met up and clashed it out, on a night when both teams had players who had trouble getting into Talk City.

They were two hard fought games, but the Slobbering Rat’s preveiled against some pom-pom shaking Six Packers. The first game started out pretty even, but soon turned into a landslide with Corwin and Ev leading the way to 31-7 RatPack victory, though I dont’t see how Ev can play so good after smoking all that.... well, I won’t say. The second game looked like it belonged to the Six Pack after leading the game 21-17 at one point, but the Rat’s surged ahead and grasped a 35-28 victory off of University Biology courses like virology (or is that virilogy Ev???)

Also, the Rat Pack would like to give a big slobbering welcome to our newest member Syd, who came in a little late but slobbered her way to an MVP award nonetheless. Looking forward to the start of the season and defending our Championship Trophy.

Slobber for everyone and everything!

We were few but mighty for our first preseason game tonight. In the first game, the rats slobbered so much all over us we could hardly see to type. But we wiped off all that slobber and came back strong in the second game.  Sabrewulf had all that rat slobber analyzed and we are waiting for the results.  Ski and Yapp were in top form. Hey, how did texmania's face print get on my poms????? It was sure fun tonight...even tho I have to wipe off all that darn slobber!!!

The 7's proved they knew their food in the first game, especially pizza toppings and the Wonders stole the -ology cat 8-1.  Mainly because Music's snoring distracted the team.  Light wore new tassels and Emma's lit up her new light bulbs, blinding us all.   Athena scored a point for us in the Mexican cities cat.  Thanks Athena!   But we really knew our Pigs and it won us the game.
The Wonders led the second game all the way.  We need to brush up on our state nicknames, guys.  And poor Cy said his noodle was toast after the pasta cat.  We will be sending him a condolence card.
Game 3 was close all the way.  But the LOL7's knew their movies and brought home the win.
By that time, Ali was pissed and didn't stick around for the 7's MVP vote.   Congratulations to whoever won!  Go 7's!!

(Commentary)  What an excellent way to start a preseason(even tho we lost) all three games were extremely close. We only had 5 of us SeXy WoNdEr WoMeN show up, but we did a fine job.  Thanks to the LOLs for an enjoyable game.  It is always fun playing with them.
