Our reptilian opponents were leading after the first round (Boards) but the rocks came back to tie on Madonna (no comment...) We took the lead in the Dead Rockers cat (john denver? LOL), but those artistic lizards made a comeback during paintings and took the lead 13-12. But the rocks can't be kept down for long...we added 6 points in the "male names R" cat, swept Female Comic Books and ended on one of our favorite cats, BEATLES SONGS...was that the lizards singing "Help!"? The second game began with a rock sweep of rainforests, followed by a sweep of brando movies and then the simpsons (i thought you didn't watch tv, captain!) by the time we got to Presidential First Names, the score was 25-3, and we added to our lead to end the game 34-4 thanks to the US advertisers. MVR to our own captain QUEE (simpsons? who knew?) And a KRAZY GLUE AWARD goes to riddie...she seemed to stay just long enough to get voiced (a real challenge to our gracious monitors!) although in true rocker fashion she managed to score a point while showing a 39 second ping response. | 5 | (Game1) 32-26 (rats) (Game2) 30-20 (rats) (MVP) Sinsear (Present) Texmania, Wendybird, Corwin, Buffylou, Sinsear, Ev, Syd, Lauren. (Commentary) --------------- Fun and excitement was had by all in these very competitive games against the Wonders. Even before Ev and Syd made an appearance (only 5 of us playing), we seemed to have a slight edge over the wonders, though outnumbered. Not too far into the first game, there were seven of us, and that seems to be the lucky number, as the Rats scoring ability gained momentum and it was all downhill until the end of the second game. Congrats to Sinsear for an awesome performance in these games, and to all the slobbering Rats, who always seem to lend significant support and skill to our team. We are proud to share first place with the Rockers (for now!)...and we will surely meet with them soon in the tourney rooms to reign supreme or play the supporting role in this pre-season Ridic Players Club tournament. --------------- (reporter) Lauren |

Cy blew everyone away in the Liquids, Sauces and Dressings that start with "M" in the second game. I was really proud to see we had 12 of our 14 players show up tonight.
