ARGH!  The 7's walked the plank tonight. 
Game 1 started of with the Raiders taking 9 of 10 in the "hardware" cat and we just never recovered.
Game 2 we had a 27 -21 lead and lost!  UGH

I think the cold just got to us and we froze - yeah that's it....

The Raiders Pulled off a victory tonight against the LOLs.
Wtg to all who participated. The Raiders were up against the starboard side of the ship, nearing the end of the plank, when the Lovely Beauty Pageant category arose, sending the Raiders to victory! MVP was PAULTAB (yes paul you really got it) and a honorable mention to our captain, Virginpet. The LOLs played a really good match with us!

Well tonight's game with the Valentine Lizards was a TC fiasco.  The first game went well, opening with a Rock mini-sweep of Canadians (yay Krusty and Baggirl!)  We gained some on newspapers and basic instruments  the ROCKS were on a roll!   Final score was 34-22.

The second game began similarly  the Rocks had the lead in the first round (Spiders - I guess the lizards stick with reptiles!) but they came back and tied us in the second round.  We regained the lead in the third - HG Wells - and then the nine billion names of bot seemed to strike all at once.  The entire room was cleared and we all had trouble getting back. After numerous vallant attempts, many of the lizards decided to call it a game....leaving four brave lizards to face The Return of The Rock.  A vallant effort, but the numbers were just too unbalanced, and we took a 35-9 victory and the game.  MVR was littlediablo09 (did you get that Valentine present?)  flowers and kudos for the four lizards (malt, trip, molly and sibil, I believe...excuse me if I'm wrong, it's late) who really showed heart  and a special MVP award to Bot for sending our lizard friends to bed.  Good game, all!

It was a wonder that anyone was at the game with talkcity acting up tonight... Bot was wearing his boot and enforcing the da boot laws... for a while there I thought we were playing jack in the box. Libra tried and tried to gain entrance but bot wasn't having it.   and Dart was on a HOT DATE!!!  Now to the game... the ^6ers gave us a good fight keeping us on our toes,  giving us a great challenge tonight, Both teams played well...Go WoNdErS.

A good turnout, good opponents and help from the Masked Monitor made for a great match on this awful night in TalkCity. We had a late start and bootings but were able, finally, to play a fine match  Game 1 was close all the way with the 8's pulling off a 7-2 win in the Mary Cat (gack!). The 2nd games was more decisive with the ^6ers scoring big in only the Columbus double point cat, before succumbing. WTG all from both sides, and a huge thx to the monitors for their work.
