| The Dodge Daytona was orignally introduced in 1984, alongside it's then-sister car, the Chrysler Laser.� Through it's 9 year production, it saw 3 major bodystyles, along with 4 major (and several minor) power plants, and a ride as a TRANS-AM series race car!!� Although front wheel drive, this vehicle boasted some of the best sports-characteristics of it's days...� The earlier Shelby Daytona's could outrun a Camaro or Mustang, and usually beat it in slalom, braking, and other events.� When it was replaced in '94, it would be a long time before Dodge's FWD performance line would be truly...
