CHARACTERS
12/11/06 - I've decided to change this website's intent from updates on our progress to a record of our attempts to make The Parody. To this end, I've structured the old updates as a type of history. The various links at the top left of the screen all contain inaccurate information. I have decided not to remove them.
A few months ago, after the Parody had more or less died, I talked briefly with the director of Born of Hope, who was facing development problems similar to the ones I was facing in June 05 (though she got much further than I ever did). It put into perspective just what exactly we had accomplised. What little there was didn't seem to add up to the nearly three years of work. I decided I wanted to put together a video that would chronicle all of our efforts from beginning to end.
I intend to work on that ASAP.
(Incidently, that same conversation got me interested in working on the Parody again, and I went back to my abandonded script revisions and storyboards. Unfortunately, I somehow managed to delete the entire script from my harddrive. It was gone, and it was a really hard blow to me. Luckily, I still have hard copies circa June 05, but they contain none of my many, many revisions... That disaster prompted my update of the site below.)
10/17/06 - I meant to put this up much sooner, but kept forgetting. For anyone out there still wondering, at this point The Parody is more or less dead. Long story short, the money ran out and the schedules just never lined up.
I say "more or less dead" because I still want to / intend to make it some day. Literally too much blood, sweat, and tears went into the nearly three years of working on this thing to drop it forever. If we do pick it up again, it will probably be a few years from now. How many of the original cast will want to return is up in the air. I hope at least some of them will. In the meantime... it was fun, guys. I'm sorry I let you down, but stuff happens. No regrets.

PRESENT MUCH INFORMATION THAT IS OUT OF DATE OR CONTRADICTORY. THAT SAID, MUCH MAY BE FOUND WITHIN WHICH GIVES INSIGHT INTO THE THREE YEAR JOURNEY THAT WAS THIS MOVIE'S PRE-PRODUCTION PROCESS.
