Latest Table, Week 2 (27/08/08)

It’s been a great week for Jim Kent, as THE OPTIMIST storms to the top of the league. It makes it even sweeter for Jim that his main rival (Brian Cole) has got off to a stinker. Mind you it’s early days yet (I keep telling myself). Former Champion Neil Carrington Has moved up to 2^nd, and Leslie Morris is into 3^rd, just above his son Ryan Morris in 4^th.

The top two players this week were not the usual suspects, Shay Given and Brede Hangeland both scored 14 points this week. Shay for a penalty save, a clean sheet and motm. Brede scored a goal, got a clean sheet and motm. Other players having a good week included: Evra (12), Elano (12), Ireland (11) & Gerrard (10).
