Latest Table , Week 1 (20/08/08)

Well It’s finally here, after weeks of Football famine (apart from something going on in Switzerland and Austria, still not quite sure what that was) the Premiership and more importantly Ricks Footy Challenge are back!

Julian Clements has had a great start with Eenog Konning notching 56 points in the first week to lead the way. New manager Colin Blackhorse is in 2^nd and Paul Goldsworthy in 3^rd. Of course it is very early days yet.

Gabriel Agbonlahor was this weeks highest scoring player after his hat trick for Villa in their 4-2 win over Man City, to earn him 20 points. IT seems it was a good week to have players with names begging with the letter A. Other players doing well in week one were: Arteta (13), Ashton (15), Kevin Davies (10), Lampard (10), Nasri (10), Giovanni (10), Fletcher (10) & Deco (10).
