A K-Town Shootout
Team Tijuana Hawe takes down team Diesel 49 42 in Turkey Bowl VII
Year seven of this historic contest saw was a mud bowl of unbelievable proportions. An overnight snowstorm set the table for the messy field conditions in Turkey Bowl history.

On the opening draft,
Greg Tijuana Hawe and Rich Diesel Siebert set clear acquisition strategies for the teams they looked to build. Tijuana went for strength and height, while Diesel went for a balanced approach of speed, agility and height.
In the end, Rich Diesel captured some of the games fastest, most deadly weapons including Chris The Warrior Ghirardi, Ralphie Vick and Joe Iron Man Lee. On the other side Greg Tijuana, saw his squad built on some of the deadliest wide receivers in the game including Matt Hard Knocks Delgudice, Wild Bill Burns, Willie The Stick Boyland and Richie Van Halen Genett. The question was obvious, could an over height, physical squad take on a quick, balanced attack

From kickoff both sides traded touchdowns through the first four possessions, then a defensive battle ensued. Team
Mud! Mud! Chaos!
Tijuana began to negate the deep attack of team Diesel with key interceptions from Matt Hard Knocks Delgudice, Richie Van Halen Genett and Dean The Dream Mozian, but they could not take advantage of the turnovers.

Rich Diesel himself pulled in two interceptions to keep his team in the game, while Ralphie Vick chewed up the defense with 5 touchdown passes and 1 touchdown run.

You cant stop this guy, you can only hope to contain him, said John Madden. With the absence of Travis Favre Demers, we thought thered be no show at QB this year, boy we were wrong. I have to this guy in my Madden 2007 game next year!
Keeping team Diesels attack even more balanced was the consistent, tough-as-nails play of savvy veterans Brian Big Daddy Hawe and Adam The Genetic Freak Krackowski.

These are the real competitors who are down in the mud, getting that key third down conversion and making the crucial block, said ESPN football analyst Chris Berman. These are the guys who keep a team together and Im happy to hear about Big Daddys endorsement deal with Colt 45, he deserves that!

The balanced attack of team Diesel kept them in the fight all the way to the finish, but in the end, the height and skills of the team Tijuana receiving core won out.
2006 competitors before their return to correctional facilities
With each of the core-receiving unit scoring a touchdown including Burns, Genett, Boylan, Mozian, Delgudice and Tijana Hawe, there were too many playmakers to deal with.

In the coming weeks look for these competitor to re-appear for a Northern Westchester vs. Southern Westchester all-star showdown and malt liquor drinking contest.
