Here are a few shots after a couple coats of blue translucent, (not as easy as it looks) still have a few coats to go, to get what I'm looking for. A little too smurfish for me right now. The front looks much better than in the picture, that's the flash in the middle. Pretty nice quilted look |

Today's project was to build a make shift spray booth. From what I hear the clear coat is some pretty nasty stuff and it's too cold to spray outside. It's basically a couple tarps and a fan from an old range hood blowing directly out the cellar window. It is recommended that you use only this type of fan as the Lacquer is very combustable. If this is the last entry to the site you'll know it didn't work :) |
