So since I had an exam in the afternoon, it gave me the whole morning to look over my notes for Sociology, but it didn't help me very much really. I got to school and looked over my notes for about 2 hours, answering all the questions on the exam review, which didn't help me a whole lot because I never got to look over the answers to half of my questions. While I was in Mr. Mullins' classroom studying for my exam alone, two teachers had taken a table from the classroom and borded off the hallway so no students could walk by, which was kind of odd. One of the teachers was my Political Science teacher, Miss Nickerson.
About 10 minutes or so of looking over my notes, Miss Nickerson walks in the classroom and said "Very good on your exam, Richard," so naturally, I was kind of shocked by that remark, considering about 2 months ago I was so lost in that course, I didn't know what a federal government was, let alone legislature or something like that. She told me that without any bonus points that I earned, I had about an 81... so about an 84ish with my bonus points, assuming I have any, which I think I do.
I continued studying for my Sociology exam, looking for more notes to answer my review questions. I found most of them, but I guess I didn't do enough work, cause some of the answers I couldn't find in my notes at all. Out of the 13 or so chapters on the review, I only had done about 4-5 of them... but thats like, 3-4 pages of stuff! I can't remember all of that anyways! So I tried my best, and gave up studying about lunch time or so to go off to Pizza Villa with Jeremy for some grub. Later on that day after I got back from Pizza Villa with Jeremy, with about 20 minutes left until the exam, Miss Nickerson called me over once again, and told me that the essay I had done up on Nelson Mandela was an 80%, so thats AT LEAST an 80.5 or so pretty much guaranteed for the term unless I really did badly on everything else, which is highly unlikely! Not to sound conceited in anyway, but I was getting pretty good marks once I found out what the hell I was doing!
So now I'm ready for my exam... okay, so ready as I'm going to be at least. She hands us out the exam... which is 15 pages long, and the thing is, the first 10 pages are multiple choice questions! All 92 of them! Only work 46 points though, out of a 150. It took me 2 1/2 hours roughly to finish that exam... I should've studied a lot more than that!
At 3:20, I had to walk from the school to work and get changed for work at 3:30. I just finished writing my exam around 3:16, so I had a little bit of time to do whatever. When I got to work and started working, I met up with Brian, who followed me outside to get the carts in. He told me that earlier there was a fight in the parking lot of the store, a pretty bad fight with blood shed with some grade 9 kid. He said the grade 9 kid got jumped by three guys and they beat him up pretty bad... I didn't know until later that day that the kid that got beat up was Darren, being Diana's(my brothers girlfriend's) brother, or almost my brother's brother-in-law if he ever marry's her, so that sucked.
I got new shoes the other day too... they're CAT shoe's so they're built for construction mostly, so they have steel toes, cashed in at about $124, but they're pretty good. The stupid thing is, I should NOT have wore them to work considering they're new... they hurt like a bitch! It was kind of funny... I was adjusting my socks so that my shoes wouldn't hurt my ankles so much, and I looked up and seen something moving in the Food Court area of the store which I'm in charge of keeping clean, and I seen, of all things, a bird! My supervisor and some other people were talking about this bird that got in the store, but I figured it was already dead or something since I had already thrown one black bird outside with a broken neck... but I looked up, and theres this black bird, flying around the rafters of the store! Ah, well, this sure has been an interesting day... too bad I'm still sick, but I think I'm getting better *knock on wood*
