| The 3rd year we joined the Mid-Atlantic Koi Club. We learned about koi health problems, unfoirtunately, and started down the road to treatments. The learning curve got steep. The 4th year, our preformed ponds were splitting and we had major leaks, the koi were getting much bigger and it was time to enlarge again. We decided to go with a 4000 gallon pond. We bought swimmers for both the 1800 gallon and the new 4000 gallon pond, a 2 cf BubbleBead Filter and our first Sequence external pump. The 2 preform puddles were removed and we installed a gazebo where they had been. The ponds were still well planted, |
