As with any other business there is a limit as to how long you can wait to return a defective part. We are completely understanding that we sell used parts, but everything we sell has been tested. If it wasn't possible to test the part, we tell the customer that is the case. Because of this we have a "No Return After 24 Hours" policy. If you believe that you may need more time to get the part installed and to test it, we require arrangements made in advance. Customers that we ship out to are allowed a 10 day period to call us and let us know that the part was defective and to make arrangements for return shipment.
Do to the sensitive nature of electrical parts and the ease of accidentally burning out the circuitry, there is no returns on electrical items. This policy is not only observed by us, but by parts suppliers such as NAPA, Car Quest and Bumper to Bumper.
Sheet metal will be inspected before pick up and shipment. Any damage occurred during shipping is not the responsibility of Richs Auto Salvage.
