Nokia N-Gage
N-Gage was released on October 7, 2003. By Nokia, the portable gaming system was A cell phone with portable gaming abilities, and media abilities. The N-Gage was not just any cell phone which could play game but also play games over the internet, with the N-Gage arena. which was a service that comes with the phone company. The N-Gage arena was a place where you can find other people to play against or with on games. The N-Gage also played MP3 and an FM radio. Nokia came out with two devices the original N-Gage and the N-Gage QD. The N-Gage came out first with the MP3 play and FM radio built in. and the N-Gage QD dose not have an FM radio, the MP3 is software based now. the other difference was that the original N-Gage the way you insert the games was by opening the back of the phone. which was quit bother some. The N-Gage QD on the other had an convenient cartridge slot at the bottom of the system. the N-Gage weight 5 ounces, used an Li-Ion battery. Lasted up to 10 hours for gaming and 5 hours for phone use. The N-Gage cost $300 at release, and about a year latter the N-Gage QD longch it was $100 for the phone and on ebay is about $70.
