Times fly by so fast and it has been more than a year we didn't see Richie. After knowing that he will be coming to Malaysia for Silver Hawk Publicity, everyone is so excited. Suggestion has been brought up to welcome him at KLIA. Therefore, without hesitation, we called up Golden Screen Cinema (GSC, organiser for this event). After 3rd times we call, we managed to get the flight info, which is on 16/01/2004 - 1:15p.m.

We confirmed with the organiser that there will be seven(7) (Fish, Lee, Wendy and son, Marian, Yuk Hing, Suet Fen) of us welcoming Richie. Also in the publicity team will be Dato Michelle Yeoh, Director Jingle Ma, Brandon Chang and Lee Bing Bing.

After getting everything confirmed with GSC, we discussed what should be done on that day. There were ideas brought up such as to ask all the members to send in New Year Cards for Richie, providing a new year greetings guestbook online for fans from all over the world to drop their words and printed it in hardcopy to be passed to him and getting flowers for the artists. We divided the jobs among the members. Everyone were so excited and can't wait for the day to arrive.

At last, 16/01/2004, the day Richie come to Malaysia had arrived. Everyone prepared themselves early in the morning. Some loaded their cameras with film, checked their digital camera and some picked up the flowers from bloomist, and packed the new year cards properly. We when to KLIA by two(2) cars. Fish and I arrived at 12:45p.m. Meanwhile the other car arrived approximately 1:00p.m. Before they arrived, I suggested to call them and informed that Richie's plane had arrived early although the plane is still in the sky. (Please don't do it, as it will nervous the other party. haha...)

Everyone were so excited and prepare themselves what to tell Richie, how to greet Michelle, where to get good view of them. Clock ticks by, and is 2:30p.m., 1hour and 15 minutes late, at last we saw the arrival notice board showing that the plane from Hong Kong has landed.

Michelle is the first to step out from the gate. Follow by Jingle Ma, and... I spotted Siu Or (Richie's manager). That time everyone of us has their eyes around to look for Richie.

Ahh..... Richie.....!!! He was standing in the middle of some people (no idea who, and didn't bothers to find out. Security Guard kua). He is so..... handsome with his new haircut, wearing leather jacket and sunglass. Everything in black. RIB (Richie in Black). Ahh...... Everyone of us rush to him to give him the gifts prepared earlier. Siu Or managed to caught an eye on Fish and called her. That time, Richie was moving his head to find Fish.... Ah........ Fish u r so lucky........!!!

Followed behind Richie was Brandon and Bing Bing. We stood still and watched all of them crossed the road and into the car their went. Before Richie got pushed in to the car, he waved to us. We waved back obviously...

It only last for few minutes. So fast.... but yet exciting. Although we can't really get near him, but we were all very satisfied to see him after more than a year we last saw him. After they moved off, we went to the carpack. While walking at the excalator, Wendy and I almost felt. Haha..... Too excited to see Richie kua.... Once we got our car, we drove to MidValley for the Artist appearance.
