David R. Scott
David Scott was selected as an astronaut in NASA's third class (1963).  During his career, Scott made three flights into space.  His first mission assigment came in 1966 when he served as the pilot onboard Gemini-VIII, this mission is credited with making the first docking between two spacecraft. Next, served as the CMP on Apollo 9 in 1969.  His final mission came in 1971 when he commanded Apollo 15, the fourth manned moon landing.  During that mission, Scott became the 7th man to walk on the moon.  He retired from the astronaut corps in 1977 having logged 23 days in space.
