Cheap sunglasses
Back in the Springs. Picked up the cat at the vet's and drove him home. He's got those old-cat teeth, the vet tells me. On the way back to the office I stopped and got my new sunglasses. I get a pair a year for $35 under my insurance. Last year I made the mistake of not bothering with bifocals, the idea being that I'd only use them for driving, but it's a nuisance having to swap glasses every time I go into the store. I've got those old-cat eyes.

At work, I messed around with what was left of our automated test scripts and found out they wouldn't work with the new version of PowerBuilder we were testing. Upgrading to a new version of Rational Team Test didn't help, although searching their on-line support for a plug-in that will make it work with PowerBuilder 9.0 did. That took a while, because unfortunately Rational was bought out a while ago by IBM, and their online help site exhibits a couple of odd behaviors: The first time you click on a link it goes to a Page Not Found error, and the second time it will shut down your browser. It's like they still have it in for Windows or something.
