Here in Colorado, we believe in layering.
In the tradition of yesterday's Hammer XL photos, today I brought another of my wins to the office to be captured for posterity: the Hanes underwear I won from their website's instant win game. Since I had already won a Hanes tagless t-shirt as well, I am, as my co-workers observe, even more like Michael Jordan every day.Speaking of curling and other things of an icebound nature, Mike Baker wore a Zamboni shirt to the office today, and it turns out he moonlights driving the Zamboni at the Chapel Hills Mall ice rink on weekends. He invited me along for a ride Saturday, and since I'm already going out that day for the local sweepstakes club's meeting, I might just take him up on that.
And continuing these joint themes, I got a phone call at the office today, with more news: I've won tickets to an Avalanche game. They told me the tickets were for March 1, and I heartbrokenly told them I was due to be in El Paso filming a documentary on that day, but they promptly and very sweetly gave me tickets for the March 5 game against the San Jose Sharks. I hear there's no love lost between these two, so with any luck there'll be a good fight.
On the other hand, I have less than a month to find a date. This could be a squeaker.
