Screwed

I'm happy to say the swelling has gone down somewhat
Still basking in my new haircut, I decided today on my lunch break I'd put the plates on my new car, especially as I had a notice yesterday my car would be towed away from the apartment parking lot if I didn't replace the outdated dealer tags. I checked and the rear plate required a straight-edge screwdriver, which I laboriously dug out of my box of tools. Then I worked my way around the front and learned that there the plate required a Phillips-head screwdriver. What sadistic mind thought up that arrangement?

Fortunately the Citi Financial office I stopped by on my break had one, and I was able to affix both plates so that I might take the whole ensemble through the car wash at Phillips 66 (charge it to my card, $5 and the sixth one's free).

$250 for this? Talk about sticker shock
