The parking situation
Today I planned to spend all day lying in bed watching movies. I made it through one I'd long waited to see (A Hatful of Rain), then the Alka Seltzer Plus tabs kicked in and I dozed through anything else that came on during the day. (Or maybe Tuck Everlasting just has that effect on everyone.) In the evening, I avoided self-medication long enough to see Gangs of New York, then it was well past time to turn in.
