I was just getting used to having shaken the cold that gripped me going into the holidays, and wake up this morning with another horrible one.Monday I spent four hours at the club waiting for the DJ to get a minute to speak to his boss about buying my mixer, then he came back and said to meet him again at 5:30 Thursday. So I went there last night and he wasn't in. What a runaround.
The coupons I had for Challenge butter did not apply to the variety on sale. On the brighter side, I did get ten boxes of instant oatmeal, six-and-a-half pounds of chicken breast, two Smart Ones lasagna florentines, six cans of Healthy Choice soup, and a one-pound bag of garden salad mix, and the tab came to $24.93. Only since I still had my $25 American Express gift card, so in fact it cost me nothing. If I lose the car at least I won't starve.
